How We Started
frosty-learning began in a community centre in Easton. Our founder, having worked in retail banking for fifteen years, noticed the same pattern repeatedly: intelligent, capable people making financial decisions based on incomplete information or outright misconceptions.
The gap wasn't intelligence — it was education. Schools don't teach personal finance in any meaningful way. Parents pass down habits, both good and bad. And the financial industry often benefits from customer confusion.
That first class in 2018 had eight participants and a whiteboard. Today, we've taught over 2,400 Bristol residents, expanded to dedicated premises in Queen Square, and built a team of instructors who share our passion for accessible financial education.
